<\/p>\nProf. Dr. Mohammad Ali Mohammad Afeen, the dean of the College of Arts, received a presentative of the Al-Jalili family, i.e., Mohammad Aubid Agha Al-Jalili, who presented, on behalf of his family, Ottoman-related documents to the College of Arts concerning the history of Mosul and specifically the local rule during the Ottoman era. The document is the first one that was gifted to the Ottoman Unit at the college. The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Mahmud Saleh Sa’id, the representative of the Academics Association at the college.<\/p>\n
The college’s dean appreciated this initiative and extended his regards and respect to the family. He also mentioned the family’s positive role in the history of Mosul.<\/p>\n
