<\/p>\nThe Department of History at the College of Arts, University of Mosul, has discussed the master’s thesis titled (Slaves and Their Political and Civilized Role in Egypt (132-358 AH \/ 749-968 AD) on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, part of which was attended by Dean of the College , Prof. Dr. Mohammed Ali Mohammed Affin, head of the department, Dr. Mahmoud Saleh Saeed, and a number of the teaching staff.
\nThe thesis submitted by the student Mayada Hazem Habbo dealt with the role of political and cultural slaves in Egypt (132-358 AH \/ 749-968 AD)
\nThe study aims to demonstrate the political and cultural role of slaves in Egypt, as these slaves were owned by their masters. Additionally, they were preoccupied with conflicts, disturbances, and wars that occurred at that time, as some of these slaves separated from the Abbasid Caliphate and formed independent states with political and cultural significance.
