Third-year students in the Translation Department completed a distinguished project as part of the Audiovisual curriculum, as they subtitled a full-length film from English into Arabic. This project is the first of its kind in which students have translated a full-length film, reflecting the development of their practical translation skills.
\nThe work was distributed equally among the students, as the film minutes were divided fairly among them to ensure collective participation in the translation and placement of subtitles. The students used a variety of specialized translation and subtitle editing applications, such as CapCut, VN, and Subtitle Edit, which contributed to improving the quality of the work and developing their technical skills.
\nThis project reflects the importance of integrating technology and language skills in education, and is a distinctive step towards enhancing students\u2019 practical experiences in the field of audiovisual translation.<\/p>\n
