<\/p>\nThe Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit at the College of Arts, in collaboration with the Department of Sociology, organized an awareness workshop on cybersecurity and data protection on Wednesday, January 29, 2025. The workshop was attended by several faculty members and students. The session, led by the speakers Prof. Dr. Harith Ali Hassan and Prof. Dr. Reem Ayoub Mohammed from the Department of Sociology, discussed the topic of cybersecurity and data protection, which is defined as the practice of safeguarding computers, networks, software applications, critical systems, and personal and institutional data from potential digital risks and threats. It also highlighted the importance of adopting preventive measures to protect sensitive data from unauthorized access and acquisition.<\/p>\n
