<\/p>\nOn Tuesday, February 11, 2025, a ceremony was held in the Department of Sociology to honor Professor Faiz Muhammad Dawood. The honor was presented by the Dean of the College of Arts, Professor Dr. Mohammed Ali Mohammed Afain. This recognition came in appreciation of the distinguished and dedicated efforts of Professor Faiz Muhammad Dawood in serving the University of Mosul and the College of Arts, particularly through his leadership of the Graduate Studies Unit at the College of Arts for many years, as well as his academic role as a faculty member in the Department of Sociology.<\/p>\n
The ceremony was attended by all the teaching and administrative staff of the Department of Sociology, along with several individuals who had earned higher degrees under the supervision of Professor Faiz Muhammad Dawood.<\/p>\n
