Under the supervision and committee membership of Prof. Dr. Wafa Abdul Latif Abdul Aali, the PhD candidate Zainab Laith Abdul Jabbar defended her dissertation entitled: “Medical Poetry as a Model of Healing: A Study of Selected Physician-Poets.”\u00a0The defense took place in the Martyr Kazem Al-Jawadi Hall at the English Department, College of Arts \/ University of Baghdad, on Wednesday, April 9, 2025.\u00a0An in-depth discussion of the dissertation was held over the course of five hours, after which the candidate was awarded a PhD degree with distinction.<\/p>\n
