On Monday, April 21, 2025, the Head of the Sociology Department, Professor Dr. Firas Abbas Fadel, presented several certificates to the students who participated in the First International Student Conference, which was held in cooperation with the University of North Carolina, USA.<\/p>\n

These students, selected for their distinction and active participation in making the conference a success, were from the second, third, and fourth stages of the Sociology Department.<\/p>\n

It is worth mentioning that the first student conference, organized by the College of Arts in cooperation with the University of North Carolina remotely, was titled \u201cSocial Peace and Conflicts in Modern and Contemporary Iraqi History.\u201d<\/p>\n

The conference was directly supervised by Assistant Professor Dr. Iman Abdul Wahab Musa, a faculty member in the Sociology Department, who oversaw the preparation and training of the students for this interactive event.<\/p>\n

Dr. Firas Abbas also expressed his gratitude and appreciation to these students, wishing them continued success and excellence in their academic and professional journeys.<\/p>\n
