{"id":44423,"date":"2025-06-20T08:25:31","date_gmt":"2025-06-20T08:25:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/uomosul.edu.iq\/en\/arts\/?p=44423"},"modified":"2025-06-20T08:25:31","modified_gmt":"2025-06-20T08:25:31","slug":"higher-diploma-thesis-on-developing-childrens-social-skills-and-their-role-in-fostering-community-peace","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/uomosul.edu.iq\/en\/arts\/2025\/06\/20\/higher-diploma-thesis-on-developing-childrens-social-skills-and-their-role-in-fostering-community-peace\/","title":{"rendered":"Higher Diploma Thesis on Developing Children&#8217;s Social Skills and Their Role in Fostering Community Peace"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-sourcepos=\"4:1-4:430\">On <strong>Thursday, June 19, 2025<\/strong>, the Department of Sociology at the College of Arts held a defense for a Higher Diploma thesis, equivalent to a Master&#8217;s degree, focusing on &#8220;Developing Children&#8217;s Social Skills and Their Role in Fostering Community Peace.&#8221; The session was attended by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Hatem Fahd Al-Tai, the Head of the Department, Professor Dr. Firas Abbas Fadil, and several faculty members.<\/p>\n<p data-sourcepos=\"6:1-6:215\">The study, presented by <strong>Khalid Ali Fathi<\/strong> from the Sociology Department, addressed the crucial importance of social skills in kindergartens, schools, and families for instilling these skills from early childhood.<\/p>\n<p data-sourcepos=\"8:1-8:197\">The primary objective of this research is to identify the significance of social skills development in early childhood settings (kindergarten, school, and family) to ensure their early cultivation.<\/p>\n<p data-sourcepos=\"10:1-10:34\">The examining committee comprised:<\/p>\n<ul data-sourcepos=\"12:1-16:0\">\n<li data-sourcepos=\"12:1-12:85\"><strong>Prof. Dr. Shafiq Ibrahim Salih<\/strong>, College of Arts, University of Mosul, <strong>Chair<\/strong><\/li>\n<li data-sourcepos=\"13:1-13:93\"><strong>Assist.
