<\/p>\nProfessor Dr. Omar Ahmed Saeed, a faculty member in the Department of History at the College of Arts, University of Mosul, participated in the defense of a doctoral dissertation at the College of Education for Human Sciences, University of Tikrit. The dissertation was titled:<\/p>\n
\u201cThe Contributions of Prominent Reciters and Memorizers of the Qur’an in Al-Andalus (92\u2013484 AH).\u201d<\/p>\n
The dissertation, presented by the researcher, offered a comprehensive study of the roles of reciters and memorizers in Al-Andalus. It focused on their scientific, military, and social contributions during the specified period, highlighting their status in Andalusian society and the extent of their influence on the religious, cultural, and political life of the era.<\/p>\n
