The defense was attended by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Hatem Fahd Al-Ta’i, the Head of the Department, Dr. Ahmed Saleh Younis, and several faculty members. The study, submitted by student Muhammad Shukr Mahmoud Atiyyah Al-Jubouri, focused on a critical aspect of the contemporary experience of the poet Walid Al-Sarraf from Mosul.
