The Department of Sociology at the College of Arts defended a Higher Diploma thesis<\/b> on the topic: “The Role of Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) in Promoting Peaceful Coexistence Among the Components of the Nineveh Plain.”<\/b><\/p>\n

The defense took place on Monday, September 29, 2025<\/b>, with the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Hatem Fahd Al-Tai<\/b>, in attendance for part of the session.<\/p>\n

The study, submitted by candidate Hussein Zainal Ali<\/b> in the Sociology Department, addressed how NGOs contribute<\/b> to strengthening peaceful coexistence among the diverse populations of the Nineveh Plain.<\/p>\n

The primary objective of this research is to study the mechanisms of peaceful coexistence<\/b> among the components of the Nineveh Plain.<\/p>\n
