A delegation of faculty members from the Department of Sociology, College of Arts, participated in the proceedings of the General International Conference of UNESCO Chairs in Iraq. The delegation included: Professor Dr. Harith Hazim Ayoub, Professor Dr. Hassan Jasim Rashid, and Assistant Professor Ibtihal Abdul Jawad Kadhim.<\/p>\n

The conference was held from October 1 to 2, 2025, under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, and in cooperation with the United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI).<\/p>\n

This participation was part of an effort to enhance the academic presence of the College of Arts in international scholarly forums and affirm its role in supporting intellectual dialogue and the exchange of expertise within UNESCO’s initiatives in the fields of education and scientific research.<\/p>\n
