The conference was held on Monday, October 27, 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Al-Abayji presented her research titled: &#8220;The Flourishing of Scientific Life in Baghdad in the Fifth and Sixth Hijri Centuries through George Makdisi&#8217;s Book &#8216;The Rise of Colleges: Institutions of Learning in Islam and the West&#8217;,&#8221; in which she discussed Baghdad&#8217;s pioneering role as a civilizational and scientific center during the Middle Ages.
