The session was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Professor Dr. Hatem Fahd Hano Al-Tai, the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Ammar Abdul Latif, and the Head of the Translation Department, Professor Dr. Hala Khalid Najim, alongside several faculty members and students.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"5\">The workshop addressed the multifaceted negative impacts of smoking, including associated diseases, financial losses, and its direct repercussions on mental health, academic performance, and the overall quality of education.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"6\">The session concluded with several key recommendations, most notably:<\/p>\n<ul data-path-to-node=\"7\">\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"7,0,0\">Banning the sale of cigarettes within the university campus.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"7,1,0\">Designating specific smoking areas far from academic buildings.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"7,2,0\">Distributing and displaying awareness posters throughout the college.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"7,3,0\">Encouraging and supporting students in their
