The first beginnings of establishing the Department of History: The Department of History was established in 2004 AD, and before that date it was merged under the name of the Department of Social Sciences, and the number of faculty members in it is (34) male and female members, and the department grants a bachelor\u2019s degree in basic education in the field of history, and evening classes were opened in the department since the academic year 2017-2018 AD, and the department follows the semester system (courses), as the academic year is divided into two semesters, and at the end of each semester a final exam is held for the subject that includes the curriculum for the entire semester, and in the eighth semester of the fourth semester the student submits his application in primary and basic schools for a full semester until the end of school exams, and he also submits a research project for graduation in this academic year. The department launched a Master’s degree program in the academic year 2008-2009 AD, specializing in (Islamic History). Approval was also given to open a Master’s degree program for the academic year 2020-2021 AD, specializing in (Modern History). Approval was also given to open doctoral studies in the department, specializing in (Islamic History), starting from the academic year 2023-2024 AD.<\/p>\n
