The College of Basic Education at the University of Mosul discussed a master\u2019s thesis on (The position of the Mamluk Sultans towards manifestations of evil in the Mamluk era 648-923 \/ 1250-1517), on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, in the (Political Sciences) hall in the college, and a number of the department\u2019s lecturers attended part of it.<\/span>
\nThe thesis, submitted by the student (Ahmed Manaf Kanaan Al-Malah) from the (History) Department, aimed to (analyze the position of the Mamluk Sultans towards manifestations of evil).<\/span>
\nThe study addressed several axes, including: (Hisbah and the role of the Muhtasib, the role of the judiciary and penalties in reducing manifestations of evil).<\/span>
\nThe study reached several results, including: (Most sultans monopolized power over caring for the people, which led to the spread of evil in the joints of the state as well as its spread among the people).<\/span>
\nThe discussion committee was headed by Professor Dr. Arkan Taha Abdul and the membership of Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Maysar Muhammad Baha\u2019 al-Din, Professor Dr. Yasser Abdul Jawad, and Professor Dr. Faiz Ali Bakhit as a member and supervisor\u2026..<\/span><\/p>\n
