The workshop aimed to introduce the use of drones in scientific applications. The College of Computer Science and Mathematics held a scientific symposium entitled &#8220;Artificial Intelligence: A Gateway from Present Challenges to Future Sustainability&#8221; on Wednesday, February 12, 2025. The symposium aimed to explore the role of artificial intelligence in advanced simulation environments serving various areas of life, from education and vocational training to healthcare, engineering, and urban planning. It discussed the technical and ethical aspects associated with the use of artificial intelligence in these fields.<\/p>\n<p>2. The College of Computer Science and Mathematics \/ Women&#8217;s Affairs Unit held a workshop entitled &#8220;Globalization and Its Impact on Women&#8217;s Leadership in the Family: How Can We Preserve Our Identity&#8221; on Thursday, February 6, 2025. The workshop aimed to explore the impact of globalization on individuals&#8217; cultural identities and how women, as those primarily responsible for raising generations, contribute to preserving cultural identity in light of the social transformations brought about by globalization, which pose a challenge to the intellectual and cultural system in our Iraqi society.<\/p>\n<p>3. The College of Computer Science and Mathematics at the University of Mosul, in cooperation with the Center for Peacebuilding and Peaceful Coexistence and Al-Noor University, held an awareness workshop titled &#8220;Securing Yourself&#8221; on Monday, February 24, 2025, as part of the &#8220;Security for Yourself&#8221; initiative.<\/p>\n<p>The workshop aimed to raise awareness of digital security, teach safe digital practices, promote a culture of information verification, protect digital identity, and empower communities to defend themselves electronically.<\/p>\n<p>4. The College of Computer Science and Mathematics, Legal Division, held a course titled &#8220;Crimes of Administrative and Financial Corruption and the Extent of Their Coverage under General Amnesty Laws&#8221; on Sunday, February 23, 2025.<\/p>\n<p>The course discussed the fact that criminal liability is the ideal deterrent and bulwark against administrative transgressions in general and administrative corruption in particular.
