{"id":38646,"date":"2024-11-03T09:59:57","date_gmt":"2024-11-03T09:59:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/uomosul.edu.iq\/en\/computerscience\/?p=38646"},"modified":"2024-11-03T10:00:21","modified_gmt":"2024-11-03T10:00:21","slug":"1-83","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/uomosul.edu.iq\/en\/computerscience\/2024\/11\/03\/1-83\/","title":{"rendered":"master&#8217;s thesis for the student Abdul Rahman Talal Ibrahim"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Discussion of a master&#8217;s thesis in the College of Computer Science and Mathematics &#8211; Department of Computer Science<\/p>\n<p>Titled (Early detection of epileptic seizures through wavelet analysis and machine learning algorithms (<\/p>\n<p>Continued scientific research movement and with the follow-up and attendance of the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Mathematics, Professor Dr. Dhuha Bashir Abdullah, the respected<\/p>\n<p>It was discussed in the discussion hall at the College of Computer Science and Mathematics at the University of Mosul on Sunday 3\/11\/2024<\/p>\n<p>The master&#8217;s thesis (in artificial intelligence) for the student Abdul Rahman Talal Ibrahim and under the supervision of Dr. Amerah Istiqlal Badran<\/p>\n<p>The thesis submitted by the student dealt with building a comprehensive approach that combines feature extraction techniques and classification algorithms to achieve high accuracy in early detection of epileptic seizures, which provides an effective support system for patients in real time for the occurrence of epileptic seizures.<\/p>\n<p>The study addressed the use of a method based on electroencephalography (EEG) signals and their analysis and then classification of those signals using artificial intelligence techniques, where a database from the German University of Bonn was used.
