Department of Mathematics Sciences entitled:<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8220;<\/strong> <strong>Hybrid Computational Optimization Algorithms for Pattern Recognition<\/strong><strong>&#8220;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In continuation of the scientific research movement and with the follow-up and presence of the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Mathematics<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong><strong>Prof. Dr. Duha Bashir Abdullah the esteemed<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It was discussed in the discussion room at the Faculty of Computer Science and Mathematics at the University of Mosul on Wednesday\u00a0\u00a0 6 -11-2024<\/p>\n<p>Ph.D. Dissertation by <strong>student Omar Dhahir Shallal Mansour,<\/strong> under <strong>the supervision of <\/strong><strong>Prof. Dr. Ban Ahmed Hasan<\/strong><strong> \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The thesis aims to hybridize three nature-inspired metaheuristic algorithms:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Dwarf Mongoose Optimization (DMO).<\/li>\n<li>Whale Optimization Algorithm (WOA).<\/li>\n<li>Artificial Rabbits Optimization (ARO).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>The thesis addressed<\/strong> pattern recognition, applying all proposed algorithms to recognize human ears, demonstrating their efficiency compared to the original algorithms.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The scientific committee included the following members:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Prof<\/strong><strong>.<\/strong><strong> Bassim Abbas Hassan<\/strong>&#8211;
