Under the patronage of the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Duha Bashir Abdullah, the College of Computer Science and Mathematics – Department of Networks held a workshop entitled “Network Programming Using Python” on Monday, October 13, 2025.<\/p>\n

Workshop Objectives:<\/p>\n

Introducing network programming and understanding its pivotal role in building modern systems and digital transformation.<\/p>\n

Explaining the importance of the Python language in the field of networking due to its simplicity, flexibility, and rich network libraries.<\/p>\n

Identifying the basic Python libraries used in network programming, such as:
\nsocket, asyncio, requests, Flask \/ FastAPI, paho-mqtt, scapy, and paramiko.<\/p>\n

Linking network programming to digital transformation and sustainability by clarifying the role of graduates in developing smart cities and Internet of Things systems.<\/p>\n

Enhancing the skills of students and graduates of the Networks Department to become leaders in building a sustainable digital infrastructure in Iraq.<\/p>\n\n\t\t
