Under the patronage and supervision of the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Mathematics, Professor Dr. Duha Bashir Abdullah, the University Psychological Counseling Division held an awareness-raising, guidance, and educational seminar entitled: \u201cHonoring Parents and Their Status in Religion and Iraqi Society\u201d on March 1, 2026. The workshop aimed to educate the younger generation about the importance of honoring and caring for parents. God Almighty has commanded us to honor our parents, and honoring them leads first to God\u2019s pleasure, then to success in life, and an increase in blessings in sustenance and lifespan. The lecturers at the seminar sought to instill positive behaviors in dealing with parents in their old age and to clarify the negative consequences for individuals of neglecting or disobeying their parents. The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) addressed in the seminar were:<\/p>\n
