Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Mathematics, Professor Dr. Duha Bashir Abdullah, the College of Computer Science and Mathematics, as part of its Continuing Education Program for the academic year 2025-2026, held a course entitled: “Practical Applications of Win QSB in Supporting Decision-Making and Performance Development in Government Departments.”<\/p>\n
The course was presented by Dr. Na’am Abdul-Mun’im on Tuesday, March 10, 2026.<\/p>\n
The course addressed the application of modern quantitative methods in tackling administrative problems within government institutions, through the use of Win QSB as an applied tool for data analysis, building mathematical models, and making scientifically based decisions.<\/p>\n
The course focused on the practical aspects of several operations research models, such as linear programming in resource allocation, project analysis using PERT\/CPM, decision analysis under risk and uncertainty, and forecasting models to support future planning.<\/p>\n
The course also aimed to bridge the gap between theory and real-world applications in government departments, thereby contributing to increased institutional performance and more efficient resource utilization.
