Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Mathematics, the University Psychological Counseling Unit held a morning session entitled “The Impact of Grief on Your Mental and Physical Health: Steps to Recovery” on May 4, 2026. The session was presented by Dr. Sara Ghanem Mahmoud and Ms. Asmaa Mohammed Suleiman to students of the Cybersecurity Department. The session aimed to encourage students to think positively and trust in God, emphasizing that every hardship is temporary and that with hardship comes ease. It also raised awareness of the impact of grief on mental and physical health, explaining how it can lead to psychological disorders and physical exhaustion, negatively affecting concentration, studies, and the desire to complete one’s academic journey. The session focused on positive coping mechanisms, such as expressing feelings, seeking support, and promoting psychological and social balance to improve quality of life.<\/p>\n
