Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Mathematics, the University Psychological Counseling Division, in cooperation with the Human Rights Unit, held a seminar entitled “Unsafe Migration: Challenges Threatening Human Rights and Ways to Guide and Prevent Them” on May 6, 2026. The seminar was presented by Assistant Lecturers Asmaa Ya’rub Hamid and Asmaa Muhammad Sulaiman. The seminar aimed to raise awareness of the dangers of unsafe migration and its impact on human rights, such as exposure to exploitation, violence, and loss of security. The importance of strengthening the role of educational institutions in educating and protecting young people from illegal migration was highlighted. Emphasis was also placed on fostering patriotism, adhering to societal traditions, and maintaining family cohesion to ensure a stable and secure life.
