It integrates deep learning algorithms with Internet of Things (IoT) systems to serve circular economy principles and meet sustainable manufacturing requirements.<\/p>\n<p>The thesis addressed:\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The innovation of a lightweight neural network architecture (DH-DYOLOP) guided by a dynamic loss function (DACAL), and the development of a comprehensive dataset (USWDD-16) that categorizes waste into 16 classes. Additionally, it involved employing a Fuzzy Logic unit for the mechanical control of sorting mechanisms on edge computing devices (Raspberry Pi 4).<\/p>\n<p>The thesis aims to: Achieve precise, real-time automated sorting of diverse and hazardous waste within resource-constrained environments.
