As part of an effort to promote environmental awareness and foster a culture of volunteerism, the College of Computer Science and Mathematics at the University of Mosul organized an extensive tree-planting campaign on Wednesday, October 21, 2026. The initiative, which took place across the college\u2019s grounds and gardens, saw significant attendance and active, hands-on participation from all college staff, including faculty members, employees, and administrative personnel.<\/p>\n
The campaign was conducted under the supervision of the College Dean and the oversight of the Tree-Planting Committee, with field support provided by engineers from the Agricultural Division. Faculty and staff worked side-by-side to plant a variety of suitable saplings and trees, setting a living example of social responsibility and demonstrating a shared commitment to enhancing the academic environment and beautifying the spaces surrounding the college buildings.<\/p>\n
The College Deanship commended the strong spirit of volunteerism displayed by the faculty and staff.
