\nFor making a difference in her community, and for being distinguished in the field of international and cultural cooperation, and for being one of the graduates of the British University of Newcastle for the year 2017, the university chose to honor Assistant Professor Dr. Rawa Boutros Qasha, Director of the Department of Scholarships and Cultural Relations at the Presidency of the University of Mosul, with the Excellence Award and invited her to attend the ceremony. The honor that New Castle University used to hold annually for its graduates from previous years who made outstanding contributions in various fields, including the field of international and cultural cooperation and bringing about positive change in the local and university communities, as well as outstanding performance in her field of specialization, and her managing the Department of Scholarships and Cultural Relations at the University Presidency.
\nIn turn, the Presidency of the University of Mosul appreciates the efforts of the Director of the Department of Scholarships and Cultural Relations, Dr. Rawa Boutros, in her constant endeavor to strengthen the bonds of international and cultural cooperation between the University of Mosul and various distinguished educational and cultural institutions in countries of the world and her role in making this cooperation fruitful in terms of concluding partnerships and scientific agreements with these institutions.
