As part of its efforts to keep pace with digital transformation and enhance administrative and academic efficiency, the College of Dentistry at the University of Mosul organized an introductory workshop on the Student Information System (SIS) on Monday, October 6, 2025. The workshop was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Ahmed Mohammed Hani Dargouth, the authorized representative from the university\u2019s Electronic Computing Center.<\/p>\n
Assist. Prof. Dr. Neam Riyadh Saleem, Dean of the College, attended a portion of the workshop and commended this important step toward adopting modern electronic systems. She emphasized the college administration\u2019s commitment to developing the technical and administrative skills of its teaching and support staff in line with the current stage\u2019s requirements.<\/p>\n
The workshop aimed to familiarize participants with the system\u2019s mechanisms and potential applications in managing student, academic, and administrative data. It also highlighted the system\u2019s advantages in streamlining procedures and improving efficiency within the college.<\/p>\n
The session included a detailed presentation and interactive discussions addressing key challenges staff members may encounter while using the system. Practical solutions were proposed to ensure optimal utilization and achieve the highest levels of accuracy and workflow efficiency.<\/p>\n
In conclusion, participants reaffirmed the importance of adhering to the university\u2019s official guidelines and instructions in implementing the system, given its pivotal role in organizing educational and administrative processes and enhancing the overall quality of services provided to students.<\/p>\n
