As part of its strategy aimed at supporting student talents and enhancing extracurricular activities, the College of Dentistry participated in the University of Mosul Table Tennis Championship, organized by the Student Activities Department at the University Presidency on Tuesday, 3 February 2026, with wide participation from various colleges of the University.
\nThe championship witnessed an outstanding performance by the College\u2019s representative, student Mustafa Taha Yaseen (Fifth Year), who reflected an honorable image of sportsmanship and a high technical level. He successfully advanced through the knockout rounds with a series of consecutive victories, reaching the semifinal match in which he faced the player representing the College of Basic Education, achieving a well-deserved victory with a score of (3\u20130) in sets.
\nBased on the decisions of the organizing committee, it was decided to postpone the final match until further notice, as our college\u2019s champion stands on the threshold of being crowned first place and winning the University\u2019s gold medal.
\nThis participation comes under the direct sponsorship and support of the Deanship of the College of Dentistry, stemming from its belief in the importance of achieving a balance between academic attainment and physical activity, in a manner that contributes to developing students\u2019 skills and fostering a spirit of fair competition.
