Alloy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>On Monday, 16 February 2026, a master\u2019s thesis entitled: \u201cThe Influence of Different Surface Treatments on the Shear Bond Strength and Microleakage of Heat-Cured Resin to 3D- Printed Co-Cr Alloy\u201d, was defended at the Department of Dental Technology, College of Dentistry, University of Mosul.<br \/>\nThe thesis, submitted by the student Luay Abdullah Khalaf, aimed to evaluate the effect of different surface treatment methods\u2014namely sandblasting, acid etching, application of metal primer, and dual surface treatment\u2014on shear bond strength, microleakage, and surface roughness at the interface between the three-dimensionally printed cobalt\u2013chromium alloy and heat-cured acrylic resin.<br \/>\nThe results revealed that the dual surface treatment (sandblasting combined with metal primer application) achieved the highest shear bond strength and the most effective interfacial sealing, thereby supporting its clinical application in the fabrication of removable partial dentures using three-dimensional printing technologies.<br \/>\nThe examination committee was chaired by Assistant Professor Dr. Ibtihal Hazim Hassan, with the membership of Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Abdul-Latif Abdullah and Assistant Professor Dr. Rana Rabee Aziz, and under the supervision and membership of
