The Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department discussed the research of the Research Higher Diploma in Oral and Dental Surgery under the title: (Platelet-rich fibrin in Oral and Dental Surgery: Biological History and Clinical Uses) for the student: Omar Ibrahim Muhammad Al-Jumaili, on Thursday, June 10 \/ 2021.The research discussed how to extract these essential elements from the patient’s blood and use them clinically as a wound sealant, its benefits, as well as the disadvantages of its application. The discussion committee consisted of:
Dr. Ziyad Hazem Ahmed, Chairman.
Dr. Alia Ismail Nasser, member. Dr. Wael Talei Al-Watar, member and supervisor.
The research was accepted after making the appropriate modifications with a degree of excellence.
