College of Dentistry discussed M.Sc. Thesis entitled “Effect of Leukocyte and Platelet Rich Fibrin (L-PRF) on Saliva Level of IL-6 and Post-Operative Sequelae after Surgical Removal of Impacted Lower Third Molar ” on 15 May 2022 forwarded by Ghada Abd Al-Ghafoor Murad. The study evaluated the effect of (L-PRF) on the level of IL-6 in saliva, swelling and trismus after surgical removal of impacted lower third molar. It was proved by the study that (L-PRF) could decrease the swelling, trismus and saliva level of IL-6 but without a statistical significant difference between the groups.
The examination Committee was chaired by Assist. Prof. Dr. Rayan Salim Hamid \/ College of Dentistry\/ University of Mosul and with the membership of Assist. Prof. Dr. Ziyad Hazim Ahmed \/ College of Dentistry\/ University of Mosul and consultant Dr. Abd Alkareem Jadaan Ali \/Nineveh Health Department and with supervision and membership of Assist. Prof. Dr. Atalla Fathi Rijab\/ College of Dentistry\/ University of Mosul.
