The Bachelor of Education in Computer Science at the University of Mosul is a four-year, full-time undergraduate program offered by the Department of Computer Science, College of Education for Pure Sciences. The program is implemented according to the Bologna Process and comprises 240 ECTS credits across eight semesters. The Bachelor of Education in Computer Science is a four-year, full-time undergraduate program delivered according to the Bologna Process. It comprises eight semesters and 240 ECTS credits. One ECTS credit is described in the catalogue as approximately 25 hours of student workload, giving an overall workload of approximately 6,000 hours. Learning activities combine structured workload – such as lectures, laboratories, tutorials, seminars, classroom activities, examinations, and other assessments – with unstructured workload, including self-study, preparation of assignments and reports, project work, examination preparation, and independent research. Arabic and English are used as languages of instruction according to the nature of the course, and teaching methods include lectures, discussions, laboratory work, project-based learning, independent study, presentations, and scientific seminars.<\/p>\n

<\/i><\/i><\/span>Programme Coordinator<\/span><\/a><\/h4><\/div>

The Program Coordinator is responsible for the overall coordination, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Bachelor of Education in Computer Sciences program (B.E.Sc.). The role includes overseeing the implementation of the curriculum, monitoring the achievement of the Graduate Outcomes, coordinating academic activities among faculty members and students, supervising laboratory and field training activities, and ensuring alignment with the University of Mosul’s quality assurance policies, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MOHESR) regulations, and program accreditation requirements. The Program Coordinator also supports curriculum review and enhancement to ensure that the program remains responsive to advances in Education, Computer Sciences, and emerging technologies.<\/p>\n
