\n

The Bachelor of education in biology (B.Ed) at College of Education for Pure Science at University of Mosul\u00a0 is a four-year full time undergraduate program via Bologna Process and consist of 240 ECTS credits. The program provides students the basic biological sciences at first two semesters in addition to educational subjects namely fundamentals of education and Developmental and educational psychology. The students learn about the basic concepts of embryology, histology, plant anatomy and taxonomy, biochemistry both theoretically and practically in second year and acquire knowledge in educational management and leadership, curriculum and scholar books subjects as well. The third and fourth year consist of advanced topics like comparative anatomy, genetics, microbiology, immunology, green learning, phycology and physiology both in lecture and laboratory in addition to teaching methods and measurement and evaluation. The student does research project and application in school to gain educational and scientific skills in future career. 1. To prepare graduates who are scientifically and educationally qualified to work in educational institutions, and who are committed to professional ethics and green education.
\n2. To equip students with the experience and skills specific to the field of education and teaching (teaching methods, educational process management, and educational technology).
\n3. To enable graduates to actively participate in applied research projects to solve educational, environmental, and health problems.

Admission to the bachelor of education in biology is governed by the admission polices of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Iraq (MOHESR) at the University of Mosul. Applicants must meet the criteria of admission for biology program at the College of Education for Pure Sciences.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

1. To be awarded the Bachelor of Education in Biology, students must successfully satisfy all requirements of graduation, including:
\n2. Successful completion of all 240 ECTs credits including compulsory core, basic, supportive and elective courses.
\n3. Achievement of the minimum graduation requirements according to the regulations of Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Iraq (MOHESR) and University of Mosul, College of Education for Pure Science.
\n4. Successful completion of all required laboratory work, applications in schools, research project and other components of the biology program.

The role includes monitoring the progress of the curriculum, and fulfilling the Graduate Outcomes, coordinating academic activities among faculty members and students, supervising laboratory and application in schools\u2019 activities, and ensuring applying the University of Mosul’s quality assurance policies, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MOHESR) regulations, and program accreditation requirements.<\/p>\n
