Education for Humanities, University of Mosul, is a four-year, full-time undergraduate program comprising 240 ECTS credits and aligned with the requirements of the Bologna Process.<\/p>\n<p>The program provides students with a strong academic foundation in physical geography, human geography, and Geographic Information Systems. It also covers modern geographical technologies, including Geographic Information Systems (GIS), remote sensing, cartography, and statistical and spatial analysis. In addition, the program addresses topics related to population, cities, climate, natural resources, the environment, planning, and spatial development.<\/p>\n<p>The curriculum integrates theoretical knowledge with practical applications, laboratory work, field studies, training, research activities, and project-based learning to develop students\u2019 academic and technical competencies and professional skills. Graduates acquire skills in spatial analysis and interpretation, geographic data collection and processing, map production, and the use of modern geospatial technologies, as well as communication, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.<\/p>\n<p>The program also prepares graduates for careers in education, urban and regional planning, Geographic Information Systems, remote sensing, natural and environmental resource management, and governmental and research institutions.
