\u00a0The College of Education for Human Sciences at the University of Mosul discussed a master’s thesis on ((Historical Geography of the East in the book Nukhbat Al_Dahr Fi<\/strong> \u00a0<\/strong>Ajayeb Albar Walbahr by Sheikh Al-Rabwah (d. 727 AH \/ 1327 AD)) <\/strong><\/p>\n

On Tuesday 15\/8\/2023, part of it was attended by Professor Dr. Hazem Thanoun Ismail Al-Sabawi, Dean of the College and Head of the Department, Dr. Hamid Muhammad Taha Al-Suwaidani, and a number of the college\u2019s teachers.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The thesis presented by the student (Muhammad Samir Younes Mubarak Al-Maathidi) in the History Department dealt with a geographical study of a number of countries in the East, <\/strong>in addition to the Indian Sea and the China Sea and their islands, <\/strong>as well as a study of the social conditions and administrative divisions of those regions. <\/strong><\/p>\n

The study dealt with the scientific and life life of Sheikh Al-Rabwah and the knowledge of the sources and methodology of the book Elite of Time in the Wonders of Land and Sea, as well as the monologues and a number of drawbacks.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The study aims to show how Sheikh Al-Rabwa dealt with the countries of India, Sindh and China, their seas and islands, and compared them with other sources.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The discussion committee was chaired by: Prof. Dr. Ahmed Ismail Abdullah,<\/strong><\/p>\n

and membership of both Assistant Professor Dr. Shaima Younes Ismail – and Assistant Professor Dr. Shamkhi Yaber Awaid<\/strong><\/p>\n

Membership and supervision of Professor Dr. Sufyan Yassin Ibrahim.<\/strong><\/p>\n
