The discussion was attended by <strong>Prof. Dr. Hazim Dhanoon Ismail<\/strong>, Dean of the College, along with several faculty members.<\/p>\n<p>The thesis, presented by the student <strong>Nawzad Yousif Abdulrahman Sli<\/strong> from the <strong>Department of Geography<\/strong>, examined the <strong>geomorphology of Wadi Al-Kumel Basin<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The study addressed the analysis of the <strong>natural characteristics of the region<\/strong>, the progression of <strong>geomorphological processes<\/strong>, its applications, and the analysis of <strong>morphometric characteristics<\/strong> of the study area.<\/p>\n<p>The research aimed to identify the <strong>nature of landforms in the region<\/strong>, develop a <strong>geomorphological map<\/strong> of the basin following the <strong>Dutch ITC classification<\/strong>, and determine <strong>suitable locations for dam construction<\/strong> to support <strong>water harvesting, agricultural and human development, and livestock farming<\/strong>, ultimately contributing to the <strong>sustainable development of natural resources<\/strong> in the area.<\/p>\n<p>The discussion committee was chaired by:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Prof. Dr. Suhaib Hassan Khudhur<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>With membership of:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Asst.
