The Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Civil Engineering<\/strong> at the University of Mosul<\/strong> is a four-year, full-time undergraduate program comprising 240 ECTS credits<\/strong>, aligned with the Bologna Process<\/strong>. The program provides students with a strong foundation in mathematics, engineering sciences, and fundamental civil engineering principles, followed by advanced study in the three core civil engineering disciplines of structural, geotechnical, and transportation engineering<\/strong>, complemented by studies in hydraulic, environmental, and construction engineering<\/strong>. The curriculum integrates theoretical knowledge with laboratory experiments, field training, engineering design, research activities, and project-based learning to develop technical competence and professional skills. Graduates acquire the analytical, practical, communication, and problem-solving abilities required to design, construct, operate, and maintain sustainable civil infrastructure. The Civil Engineering Program aims to:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Provide students with a comprehensive engineering education that establishes a strong foundation in mathematics, science, engineering principles, and the core disciplines of civil engineering while fostering scientific reasoning, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.<\/li>\n
  2. Prepare graduates for successful professional careers and postgraduate studies by developing their knowledge and ability to analyze, design, construct, manage, and maintain civil engineering projects and infrastructure in accordance with recognized engineering standards, specifications, and ethical practices.<\/li>\n
  3. Develop students’ technical and practical competencies through laboratory experiments, field training, engineering design, undergraduate research, and the effective use of modern engineering software, digital technologies, and analytical tools.<\/li>\n
  4. Enhance graduates’ communication, leadership, teamwork, and project management skills, enabling them to effectively supervise infrastructure projects, ensure quality assurance, and work efficiently in multidisciplinary engineering environments.<\/li>\n

    Upon successful completion of the program requirements, graduates are awarded the Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Civil Engineering by the University of Mosul.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
