Within the framework of cooperation between University of Mosul and government departments and institutions, a workshop was held between College of Engineering \/ Department of Electrical Engineering and the Ministry of Electricity \/ General Company for Electricity Distribution – Northern Region
\nThe workshop dealt with the importance of using renewable and clean energies as one of the sources of energy generation to support the national grid and preserve the environment and related determinants
\nThe workshop was held on Tuesday 8\/15\/2023 in the training hall at the headquarters of the General Company for North Electricity Distribution.
\nThe workshop also dealt with identifying the components of the solar system and how to choose the most efficient components. At the end of the workshop, the importance of scientific cooperation and exchange of experiences between the university and the rest of the ministry’s departments was emphasized to address problems and find appropriate scientific solutions for them.
\nThe workshop was attended by Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Tarik Yassin \/ Head of the Electrical Engineering Department, lecturer Dr. Wael Hashem Hamdon AL-Hassoon \/ Rapporteur of the Electrical Engineering Department, and lecturer Ahmed Idrees Ahmed AL Ghannam.<\/p>\n
