Within the framework of cooperation between University of Mosul and government departments and institutions, a workshop was held between College of Engineering\/Department of Electrical Engineering and the Ministry of Electricity\/General Electricity Distribution Company – Northern Region
\nThe workshop dealt with the importance of cyber-security to enhancing the efficiency of electrical power systems and protecting them from electronic attacks and threats
\nThe workshop was held on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, in the training hall at the headquarters of the General Company for Northern Electricity Distribution.
\nPresent at the workshop were Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Tariq Yassin \/ Head of the Department of Electrical Engineering, Assistant Professor Dr. Dr. Omar Sharaf AL-Deen Yehya , Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus Dhanun, Assistant Professor Dr. Firas Sami Haseeb , and lecturer Dr. Omar Mustafa Ali .<\/p>\n
