As part of the ongoing scientific activities of the faculty members of the Department of Electrical Engineering \/ College of Engineering \/ University of Mosul, the lecturer, Dr. Hasan Adnan Mohammed Danial and the professor, Dr. Ahmed Nasser B. Alsammak published a research on 31\/10\/2023 entitled “An Intelligent Hybrid Control System using ANFIS-Optimization for Scalar Control of an Induction Motor” In a journal (European Journal of Automated Systems; Scopus; cite score 1.8; Q3).
\nThe research dealt with the exploitation of smart methods in controlling the speed of a three-phase induction motor and achieving the ideal rated speed, as it used three control methods: – the traditional method, the optimization method, and the last method is represented by using a hybrid control system (ANFIS-Optimization). In the second method, the Over Shot was reduced by up to 75% and the Settling Time was reduced by up to 80%. While in the third method, the Over Shot was reduced by up to (90%), and the stabilization time was reduced by about (94%).<\/p>\n
