Department of Electrical Engineering held a workshop on “introduction to the world of translation” on Wednesday, 15 Nov. 2023.
\nThe workshop addressed many topics, including what is translation, the importance of translation and its role in promoting and exchanging cultures, in addition to the criteria for selecting a book for translation, and the most important challenges facing the translator when translating a book. In addition, the lecturers touched on the importance of choosing the appropriate publishing house, and how to contract with the publishing house, while addressing the most important factors that govern the translator when contracting with Arab and foreign publishing houses. .
\nThe workshop was attended by Assistant Professor Dr. Mohamad Natiq Abdul Kadir Al-Rahim and Translator Engineer Saud Maan
