\nThe thesis presented by, \u201cdesign of RF energy harvesting system for wireless sensor networks application at 5.8 GHz to present reliable power supply for low power devices”.
\nThe thesis discusses \u201cA reception antenna design using microstrip patch antennas with antenna array and AMC technology was optimized, selecting a 1×4 array for superior performance. A rectifier circuit with a HSMS 2860 Schottky diode was designed for efficient AC to DC conversion, with a matching circuit ensuring maximum power transfer\u201d.<\/p>\n
The results showed \u201cThe system achieved an efficiency of 71.8%, utilizing a matching circuit composed of LC elements and transmission lines. The rectifier achieved a conversion efficiency of 76.2% at an input power of 22 dBm, with a maximum voltage of 4.3 V at the same input power\u201d.<\/p>\n
