Granted to Faculty Member from Department of Environmental Engineering"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As part of the ongoing scientific activity of Department of Environmental Engineering, Assistant Lecturer Waad Mohammed Ali, a PhD student and faculty member in the Environmental Engineering Department, has been granted a patent that has been officially registered internationally with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) under the title:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cInnovative Application of Garden Cress (Lepidium sativum) as a Novel Biomaterial for Modification of Anode Surfaces to Boost Power Generation in Microbial Fuel Cell.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This patent represents a part of the lecturer\u2019s PhD research, which was completed at the Environmental Engineering Department, University of Baghdad, under the supervision of Professor Dr. Zainab Ziyad Ismail.<\/p>\n<p>On this occasion, the College of Engineering extends its warmest congratulations and best wishes to the faculty member,
