{"id":39642,"date":"2025-05-13T18:13:29","date_gmt":"2025-05-13T18:13:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/uomosul.edu.iq\/en\/engineering\/?p=39642"},"modified":"2025-05-14T06:24:35","modified_gmt":"2025-05-14T06:24:35","slug":"39642","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/uomosul.edu.iq\/en\/engineering\/2025\/05\/13\/39642\/","title":{"rendered":"Scientific Research Published in the Field of Water Resources Engineering"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"196\" data-end=\"694\">A scientific research paper in the field of Water Resources Engineering has been published entitled <strong data-start=\"306\" data-end=\"401\">\u201cMorphological Changes in the Tigris River Due to Al-Kut Barrage: A Comprehensive Analysis\u201d.<\/strong><br data-start=\"401\" data-end=\"404\" \/>The study was conducted by a Ph.D. student at USM University \/ Malaysia , under the supervision of <strong data-start=\"508\" data-end=\"529\">Dr. Nuridah Sabtu<\/strong> from USM and <strong data-start=\"543\" data-end=\"571\">Dr. Ziyad Ayoub Suleiman<\/strong>, a faculty member in Department of Dams and Water Resources Engineering, College of Engineering \u2013 University of Mosul.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"696\" data-end=\"974\">The research addresses the morphological changes occurring in the Tigris River downstream of the Al-Kut Barrage, caused by sediment accumulation upstream and downstream of the structure.
