Under the Patronage of the President of University of Mosul, Prof. Dr. Waheed Mahmood Al-Ibrahimi, and Supervision of Dean of College of Engineering, Assist. Prof. Dr. Omar Mohammed Hamdoon, Division of Media and Government Communication in cooperation with Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Division at the College of Engineering, the University Security Center, and the Institutes of Nineveh\u2014organized a workshop titled: \u201cPromoting a Culture of Citizenship, Peaceful Coexistence, and Moderation within a Unified Society,\u201d on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, in the Discussion Hall of Environmental Engineering Department.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The workshop aimed to instill the values of good citizenship and promote the principles of peaceful coexistence and moderation among members of society through awareness and interactive programs. These efforts contribute to building a shared understanding of the importance of respecting cultural and intellectual diversity and rejecting extremism and violence.<\/p>\n

Additionally, the workshop sought to engage various social groups in initiatives that reinforce national belonging and a sense of civic responsibility, supporting efforts to achieve security, stability, and sustainable development.<\/p>\n
