As part of the periodic meetings of the Industrial Advisory Council of Civil Engineering Department, the first meeting for the academic year 2024\u20132025 was convened on Monday, January 13, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. in Civil Engineering Department. The meeting was attended by members of the Industrial Advisory Council, the Head of Civil Engineering Department, Professor Dr. Moataz AbdulJabbar Al-Obaidi, as well as members of the department\u2019s academic advisory board.<\/p>\n

The agenda focused on strategies for implementing the National Strategy for Education and Higher Education, structured around three key themes:<\/p>\n

    Proposing the introduction of new undergraduate specializations aligned with labor market demands.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  2. \n

    Evaluating the current academic curricula and exploring opportunities for their revision and enhancement.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  3. \n

    Advancing summer training programs to strengthen students\u2019 practical skills and better prepare them for the evolving needs of the job market.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
