Assistant Lecturer Waad Mohammed Ali Abbas<\/strong>, a faculty member in Department of Environmental Engineering \/ University of Mosul<\/strong>, defended his PhD dissertation entitled:
“Electrode Modification Using Eco-Friendly Nanomaterials to Improve Energy Recovery from Hospitals Wastewater in Microbial Fuel Cell”<\/strong>,
specializing in Environmental Engineering.<\/p>\n

The dissertation was submitted to Department of Environmental Engineering at University of Baghdad<\/strong>, under the supervision of Professor Dr. Zainab Ziyad Ismail<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The dissertation aimed to reduce internal resistance in microbial fuel cells in order to enhance energy recovery during wastewater treatment.<\/p>\n

The study focused on the use of natural seeds in nanoscale sizes as supportive materials for acid-treated multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Thanks to God, the dissertation was approved<\/strong> after thorough discussion covering various scientific and methodological aspects.<\/p>\n
