As part of its ongoing efforts to promote environmental sustainability within the university campus and to achieve Goal 13: Climate Action, and in accordance with the directives of Presidency of University of Mosul \/ Department of Administrative Affairs, College of Engineering has launched an initiative to plant indoor shade plants in the dean\u2019s office building and its affiliated academic departments.<\/p>\n

This initiative aims to create a healthy and sustainable educational environment that enhances the well-being of both students and faculty. The addition of plants contributes to improving indoor air quality and provides a comfortable atmosphere that helps with concentration and stimulates creativity. This step also reflects College of Engineering’s commitment to strengthening the connection between students and nature, thereby supporting mental well-being and fostering an inspiring educational setting.<\/p>\n

It is worth noting that this activity was organized by the Sustainable Development Committee and the Administrative and Services Division at College of Engineering, in collaboration with Sustainable Development Unit \/ Department of Studies and Planning at university presidency, and in coordination with Department of Administrative Affairs at the university presidency.<\/p>\n
