On Sunday, June 22, 2025<\/strong>, Department of Mechanical Engineering at College of Engineering held a training course titled “Enhancing the Culture of Participation in the Engineering Decision-Making Process”<\/strong> in the department’s discussion hall. The course will continue until June 26<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The course aims to strengthen participants’ understanding of the importance of involvement in decision-making within the academic environment<\/strong>, to introduce leadership styles and decision-making approaches<\/strong>, and to help build a work environment based on dialogue and initiative<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The course is supervised by Mr. Yaser Shukur Mahmood<\/strong> (as supervisor and lecturer), and delivered by Prof. Dr. Atallah Jasem<\/strong> and Assistant Lecturer Nooraldeen Saleh Khudhur<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

It covers a variety of topics, including an introduction to the concept of participation in engineering decision-making<\/strong>, effective communication skills<\/strong>, tools for group decision-making<\/strong>, and mechanisms for building a participatory work environment<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The course is specifically designed for faculty members and engineers<\/strong> in College of Engineering.<\/p>\n
